Welcome!Welcome to the website for Palmetto State Systema and thank you for visiting. Palmetto State Systema is a martial arts school dedicated to learning and practicing the Russian martial art of Systema (The System) as taught by Mikhail Ryabko and Vladimir Vasiliev. The local instructor is Mark Jakabcsin, who is a certified instructor under Mr. Vasiliev, plus Assistant Instructors John Patterson, Patrick McLean and Roy Hatcher. The training occurs at the Ultimate Gym Monday nights (6:30-8pm), Thursday nights (6:30-8pm) and Friday's (11am-12:30pm) at the Ultimate Gym, 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month, 401 East 35th Street, Charlotte, NC 28205. Class size varies depending on day of the week and time. There are multiple payment plans available to fit everyone's needs. The best way to try Systema is the one time introductory special of 2 classes for $20, this allows you the opportunity check us out.
